The title reflects the concept of John Cage’s Imaginary Landscape: music does not need to follow a fixed route to make sense. Here, sounds appear, fade and change direction, giving you space to follow the details and connections that emerge along the way. Matilda Russo’s voice enters not as a conventional lead vocal but as another element within the environment. It can feel close for a moment, then disappear again into ambient layers, field recordings and TERRA’s increasingly dark tones.

Created mainly with the SOMA TERRA and field recordings, these pieces place you inside a shifting environment of tactile tones, fragments of everyday life, open spaces and chance noises.

Imaginary Landscapes is not an EP built around a destination. It is a space you can return to, where harmony, silence, noise and voice coexist on their own terms.
