SOMALOGY VOL. 4 — is the fourth and final part of the SOMALOGY various artist compilation.

SOMALOGY VOL. 4 is optimistic and spirited, just what we need at this time of the year after a long winter. These tracks combine elements of different genres including idm, breakbeat and even rock. And, of course, all of them are united by the use of samples and sounds created on SOMA Laboratory instruments.
The global presence of SOMA Laboratory is also reflected by these artists, who hail all the way from Mexico and the USA to France and the Netherlands and even India.

“Research” solemnly opens the compilation and sets the tone for the entire release. “Games at Sundown” creates a spring mood which returns in “The Sanctuary”.

Then “Empty Axis” takes a more solemn contemplative approach, before. “Langur Frolic”, in turn, gently brings us back to lightness. “Taigapunkki”, which gracefully uses DVINA samples, begins to pick up both tempo and intensity. The compilation closes with “Dyslexia”, a fitting ending and culmination of not only this part of the compilation, but also of the entire SOMALOGY series.
